Open water licence

All new open water installations are to be charged a one off licence fee, which is to offset the cost of the purchase and installation of a suitable meter (See Rates and Charges). This meter will remain the property and responsibility of the Board, allocation rests with the board.

The open water licence must be completed by the landowner or the authorised representative of the pump. Follow the link and print the "Open Water Licence Application" (.pdf format) form and use black pen and clear BLOCK letters to fill the form.
Applicants are encouraged to complete the form with correct details to avoid delay and misinformation.
If you are posting this form, the form must accompany a cheque with applicable amount and be posted to Po Box 720 Ayr Qld 4807. In person, the form accompanying cash or cheque only can be submitted at NBWB office reception. Applicant will be notified of approval/disapproval via mail.

Transfer of Open Water Licence

This form must be filled if you have existing Open Water Licence and in the case of sale, purchase or transfer of the land/property/pump/meter.
